CoP is too hub based and CS just had bases everywhere along the way for you to chillax. In Shadow of Chernobyl, going most places was an effort because a lot of the time you were travelling pretty long streches with little or no places to stop to resupply or even take a breather, and there was only a couple of safe places that acted as a hub in he whole game. One thing CoP doesn't give you is the feeling of the journey counting for something. My favourite parts of Clear Sky were the swap and Limansk, and CoP carries on a similar feel throughout. I liked the environments in Call of Pripyat a lot more than any of the other games.
